Moongate

The Moongate is a new line for us, hopefully the first of many.  It measures 2.4m in diameter and is constructed from fully welded 40mm mild steel box section.  The pattern originates from Hangchow, Zhejiang province in China and is the first of many designs we intend to build in order to expand the range.

This artistic arm of the business encompasses skills not normally found in general engineering shops, yet gives us great pleasure.  Fabricating ornate oriental iron work into gates, windows, panels and both indoor and outdoor sculptures can truly test our welding skills, especially when working with patterns found in Buddhist temples which are more usually worked in stone.

Commissions are made to suit with clients choice of final finish.

R.G.C Sieve Grader

This sieve was made for gardeners but now sold to archaeology companies and university archaeology departments including Durham, Chester, London, Glasgow, Orkney, English Heritage and Cambridge.

Our sieve has vastly increased the speed of assessing soil content for finds which saves time as well as money.

The sieve stands on stainless steel all terrain feet and is operated standing with a straight back.  The soil tray has interchangeable stainless steel screens, one of which is supplied, extra screens can be supplied in sizes 5, 10 or 15mm diameter.  The unit is fully powder coated with all fixings in stainless steel.

The sieve is fully collapsible and fits easily into most cars.

Please call for latest prices (which can be affected by world steel costs) of sieves and extra screens.

Finally, we also supply custom made hard wearing hand sieves as supplied to Cambridge university for a schools project.
